Default Fun with Google Maps

So, I was looking at the satellite pictures, getting map ideas for my Marines- in-northern-Poland game, when I see something intriguing. At least, to me, who is not a professional photointerpreter.

East of Kwidzyn and Grudziadz, there's a bunch of small lakes and a forest. In the very small village of Kamieniec, I see a large building, no roof, shaped like a reverse "C". Huh, I think, must be an old noble's estate; after all, this used to be Prussia.

Then, I look NE of the "manor house" and see that the woods have lots of regular shapes in them, with square corners. Now, that could be hunting trails or something, but it sure looks like very large building outlines, or former farm fields, or something. Perhaps a WW2 barracks/base? I can't make out a runway. Wikipedia indicates it's not a concentration camp.

Any ideas? It could just be lots of farmland, abandoned to woods.

The building was built for someone during its time as part of Prussia
Here's a translated page from the Polish Wiki about the building

As for the regular shapes found in the woods to the north east, they look like forest management land parcels to me with tracks between lots. The Poles planted a lot of forests near towns, particularly pine.
