If I were to purchase a module, which should be first?

The Riverton module is probably the best module to start with, as is, it's a moderate challenge for a new team. You can tweak it to provide more imps to use against the team, the tank can be a major surprise....and you can always spring a blue undead if the team is steam rolling the imps.

We've reviewed Liberation at Riverton in earlier posts for additional feedback, Enjoy!!

Definitely "Liberation at Riverton" ....... very good for introductory module.... some hit charts, some new equipment.

It is a good starter.
Probably "Operation Lucifer" next...... there is a lot of territory covered in that one that is really good for setting and lots of side adventures.

Every module gives you some new piece of equipment, a few new charts, etc.

Purchase "Rogue 417" from Tri Tac Games, this was intended as an alternate timeline or supplement to TMP. All the tables for random events and settings make that worth it.

If you go with Liberation at Riverton and Operation: Lucifer, you may want to add Operation: Damocles as well, as it is set in the same region, Michigan and Wisconsin.

I would add Ruins of Chicago to the above list, just to complete the modules for the Great Lakes region. Its a fascinating area and might well be the best area for a "super" campaign.

There is an adventure set in the Rocky Mountains on Gary Gore's "Supply bunker" site. A Recon team with the mission of surveying the I-70 corridor and passes.

Well, I am in Denver....... I just expect the Front Range from Ft. Collins to Pueblo to be nuked out of existence ........ Too much government offices, labs, and military bases...... in addition to major rail terminals and rail hubs.

Additionally, I expect the Eisenhower tunnel and Glenwood Springs to get nuked to shut down east -west traffic for a long time.

Good old winds being the same ( I hope) we live in a much more friendly invi.
Back in the day I really tried to get the big guys to look at western col as THE best place for all year long reserve training site and storage area. sorta glad they did not see my views as the best.
We have a great air port and super abundance of terrain types and a lot of BLM land. Oh yes and water the top of the list need.

And one can use "Rogue" to replace the asteroid strike in the 4TH edition if they wish. The charts are useful for 5 years or less campaigns.
