The FV432/30 in Twilight 2000
I've not had chance to be active for a while so here's a new article to make up. I have detailed a rather rare vehicle used only by the British Army. Originally only 13 (or 15 or 18...) were made and I got a chance to drive one thanks to my wonderful partner Christine Appleyard buying me a driving experience for my birthday. Looking at the pics I just had to write an article.
As ever please feel free to nitpick and comment so I can improve the article. Last edited by James Langham2; 10-17-2017 at 09:08 AM. Reason: adding text |

Really good and interesting article, especially liked the quotes from the Osprey books and an Osprey book on British armour of The Twilight War would be excellent.

It's a bit of an in joke as my friend Neil Grant is an author for Osprey (and if you look in the SA80 one you will see a photocredit for me).

Good work, James. I particularly like the section on vehicle markings.

Agree with Raellus - there is a lot to like about this article - and the vehicle marking details are tailor made for those who love to do vehicle models for either gaming or display

I'm guessing asa follow up an article on British markings would be useful?

I think we'll gobble up anything qnd everything you put out. It seems like I'm fanboying a bit here, but everything I have from you is really good. Not to detract from all the other excellent material from our compatriots, but I have felt the British needed more content...

Having looked at the NATO vehicle guide I can see a LOT of problems with the plates illustrating UK vehicles - I guess the article needs doing.
