Default [Excellent Map Source] Stamen and OSM mapping web-apps

Just thought I'd share some map-making web services that I rely on regularly.

STAMEN
This site is amazing. Play with the different modes (streets, labels/no labels, terrain etc). Also the projects have some interesting modes (sea level rise...). This has been my go-to map source for a few years.

OPEN STREET MAP VERSIONS
OSM makes map data available for other apps. At the bottom is the list of apps out there but here are some excellent ones...

Europe Beta
Unbelievable Europe Map that looks like paper but zooms in for building detail. In addition, if you run the mouse over the screen it identifies the Terrain/Land type. Really cool. Especially for T2k.

Here is the list of all OSM apps, I have NOT looked at all of them.

Awhile back I found another crowd-sourced map app that identified specific buildings at a local level in Europe. Still looking for it since I can't find it now... I'll let you know when I do.

As someone who has a bit of a fascination for maps, I'm really enjoying wandering around these ones. Thanks for posting these links, great stuff!
