Default Random equipment

I have been thinking about restarting my equipment database (work is REALLY boring right now) and I thought it would be fun have members post items that could be added to a random equipment list.

As you have time walk around your house and post maybe 10 things you think would be useful in the T2k/13 world and a similar number of odd things that you think no one else might have.

These in the end could become part of a random PC/NPC equipment list or prehaps a looting table for vehicles or buildings.

Going to walk around my house now, back in a few.

PS I know we have some equipment lists here on the site but post any you might have as well. Thanks.

I thought more about it and I decided on "looting" my own house. The useful were the first 10 things that made it into the bag. (I assumed the food and medicine was spoiled and excluded complicated things like medical and tool kits)

Useful
Bottle 2 oz Cyanoacrylate (super glue)
AA batteries.
Digital Stopwatch
Instant Cold Pack
Bottle Iodine Prep solution (2 Fl oz)
Leatherman Micro (scissors)
Roll Aluminum Foil 250 Square feet
Index cards (pack of 50)
Kite String 250ft
Graph Paper pad 30 sheets.

These took some digging into drawers and closets
Odd
Heat Mailable Plastic (soft at 80+C Solid below that)
Precision Calipers
Box of 100 Single Edged razor blades.
Precision workstation (with grippers and magnifying glass)
300 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle unopened
Us-> Asia/Europe plug adapter (2), Asia/Europe-> US plug adapter (1)
2 Plastic Kali fighting sticks
Travel toothbrush with Micro toothpaste (courtesy of Korea Air)
Baseball Cap (Disney world logo)
Digital Scale (mixed with single edged razor blades i know i look like a drug dealer, but I actually use it to measure equipment for my database.)

Sounds like fun

Potentially useful:
Double duvet cover: Eqyptian cotton, woodland camouflage
2 x Clockwork flashlight
1 x clockwork radio/flashlight
4xAA recharger
20 x AA rechargeable batteries
x30 binoculars
Treadle-powered Singer sewing machine and sundries
Blunt but original Farbairn Sykes dagger
Replica Civil War lobsterback helmet (English not US)
Probably best of all: Vacuum packed Heritage seeds for: Peas, Broad Beans, Tomatoes, Leeks, Onions and Carrots (supposed to last for five years if kept sealed and in cool dry place

More esoteric:
About 20lbs of lead soldiers
Brass Instruments: Tubax2, Trumpet/Cornet x 4, Trombone x 1, Baritone/Euphonium x 2 (total weight: 100lbs brass)
Gestetner Spirit Printer (uses spirit and special master copies: you write on the copies and roll them through the printer, each master can make about 1000 copies)
100 masters (50 black, 20 blue, 10 green, 10 brown, 10 red)
Epidiascope (projects pictures/books onto a screen or wall)
Set of draftsman's tools
Silver retractable pen (can be filled with charcoal)
Gold fountain pen
Leatherman multi-tool
Ventner 1917 Brass March compass

Generally ignoring all the military kit I have lying around.

Useful items (no particular order):

1. Long back British infantry burgan in DPM with medic side pouch and ordinary pouch.
2. High leg Matterhorn boots with decent insoles.
3. First aid manual
4. Tin opener
5. Sewing kit
6. Pack of refillable lighters
7. MTP pattern bush hat
8. Light weight Gortex jacket (unfortunately red)
9. Book - "how to do just about anything"
10. Swedish Army knife

More esoteric items:

1. Russian Army dynamo torch
2. Tuff Cut scissors (in pink for easy finding in an emergency)
3. Gortex bivvi bag
4. Spork
5. Bag valve mask
6. 58 pattern waterbottle with commercial metal mug
7. Socket set with all types of heads (including screwdriver and Alan key)
8. Heat pads (reusable)
9. Lightweight compass (with degrees and mils)
10. Hand sanitiser

And 10 random useless items:

1. Signed picture of Gordon the Gopher
2. Stress squeeze St John Ambulance ambulance
3. Keys to a car I scrapped years ago
4. Regimental cuff links
5. China mug
6. European power cable for a printer
7. Ordnance Survey map of an area 200 miles away
8. A completely stripped for spares lapbook chassis
9. A petrol strimmer missing the strimming head
10. A record of my grandfather playing a piece he composed (note I have no record player...)

Worryingly all these are present in my house...
