Default 28mm FMTV models

Miniature Building Authority, purveyor of fine (albeit painfully-expensive) terrain, has launched a Kickstarter campaign for FMTV trucks scaled for use with 28mm miniatures:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...-truck-project

Slightly anachronistic for classic T2k but usable for modern timelines, as well as for the obvious modern/ultramodern wargaming. Given the relative ease by which small PC parties can acquire 2.5-tonners on the starting vehicle table, one of these might be a better investment than a resin Bradley or Abrams model...

Thread necromancy, but these are now available for general purchase on Miniature Building Authority's web site, along with a variety of HEMTTs and some other stuff:

I'm not sure I could convince myself to part with nearly a hundred dollars for a HEMTT gun truck. OTOH, fifty bucks for a Ural is a bit less budget-destroying, and probably more usable in the vast majority of T2k campaigns.

Many decades ago, I looked in the toy section of HEB for something for my nephew. Looking over the toy aisle, I found a great HO-scale Bradley, M-1 Abrams (which was a little small), a HMMWV, and a Leopard 1 (an A4, I would guess). It can be surprising what you can find in a toy aisle or store.

Nice trucks. Those Bobby Jackson "Thugz" figures, though, seem a little... uh, problematic.

I'm not connected with the company apart from a customer but I have bought 20mm and 1/72nd stuff from here. They do 28mm too.

Thanks for the link! They have several items I've never seen in 28mm before, including ADATS.

That's OK.

I think due to COVID they are 6 weeks behind with orders but S & S Models do a very good service. They will quote for bits and pieces, like turrets, too.
https://sandsmodels.com/ They do some 28mm / 1:56.

BPM have their website set up to sell turrets seperately. So, if you wish to put an ADATS or ROLAND turret on a Warrior or Bradley, etc? I think it would be possible to make a few of the 'never where' T2K vehicles this way.
They do a lot of Hummer and LAV varients and print in a lot of scales / sizes.

Inspired by one of the threads on here I got some AML 90mm turrets.

I know nothing about Solido bar a short article in the current Miniature Wargames magazine or how to get them, if you can...
https://www.solido.com/en/product-category/military-en/

Otherwise, try £ / $ shops. Are there shops in Europe where everything is One Euro?
