Cool, another 1966. BTW, got a new job hauling auto parts around. Not glorious when compared to the times I was in IT and accounting but it pays the bills and people are not buying new cars but keeping their old jalopies running. I'm in that crowd too. Mom even saw that in the news where people are keeping their old cars.

I know all about having a stable job that isn't glamorous...I am presently an Assistant Manager at a movie theater. The pay isn't all that bad considering the area where I live, managers are all-but guaranteed 40+ hours/week, and the chances of getting laid-off are extremely slim. Plus it's really low-stress, so my blood pressure is comfortably under control.

October 1961 here. Currently employed as credit manager for an upmarket wine importer in London, my blood pressure isn't doing great in the current economic climate but at least I get to bring home £30+ bottles of wine a few evenings a week.

December 1974, just turned 34 and as a special present it was my weekend to work, we'd 3 sold out concerts and a customer puked on me, all good fun! Work wise, I'm still managing in the students union bar and still enjoying it, even if my boss is a bit of a muppet.

One of the perks I like where I work at is sometimes the company buys lunch and I get a 20% discount on parts. My 1994 Explorer needs a lot of parts, sometimes I think it is sheer will that keeps it going.

70 here, a good year my dear

As for doing, returning to school and having to take all the junk science courses I avoided the first time, and working in the Emergency Room of the local hospital dealing with more non emergencies than real. On the plus side, the nurses, phlebologists and one of the PA's and some of the EMT girlies make for nice scenery.

That's part of what I liked when I was posted to G3 at 2nd ID in Korea -- about a third of the Division HQ was female!

The strangest birthday coincidence I've come across was when we opened Flanagans bar in Belfast. Opened on Friday the 13th, with 13 staff, 5 of whom were born on Friday 13th including me whos birthday it was. And we were surprised when it all went a bit tits up!

Something I missed entirely in my good education. I have two rules: don't listen to elders and officers. Actually, about the elders the principle is simply to not let them know when you are listening to them.

I was born on the 11th of November 1972 at....1pm. Missed by 2 hours!

Still, being born on the aniversary of the last day of WWI has got to mean something.

My little brother was born in 1981 and I changed his diapers. I've told him many times he owes me big for that. Now he plays in my T2K campaign! I like his character too. A 6'5" Samoan who is a USMC killing machine.
