Default ADM specialist

The service branch and specialty charts list one option as "ADM Specialist." What is that? I've never heard of it.

ADM specialists are rare birds. Generally, they're assigned directly at Corps-level, though in some places they are at Army-level. And even at Corps level, you won't find many; they're small in numbers. They have very high security clearances. Some are recruited specially out of top universities' physics programs.

I wonder, though: Are there even less today? Are they still an MOS or, in today's political climate, "hidden" amongst other MOSs? I'll have to check that.
