Happy Kalisz day - and also my 55th birthday - hard to believe I have been playing and loving this game for so long.

We are all getting to be a bit long in the tooth! I turned 58 in May. I can still remember when t2K 1.0 came out -- at the time, I was still a starving student, not yet in the ARNG or on scholarship, and couldn't afford to buy it until November.

Very cool.

Saw on one of the FB groups that Marc Miller served in the 5th ID, back in the 70s, which is why they picked it...

Saw that too: I had wondered why GDW chose the 5th. Now, did someone there serve in the 8th ID and have a bad time? That would explain why they put the 8th in Latvia.

Marc Miller just posted over on Facebook that he served there in the 1970s
