The shotgun round is essentially a .410 loading like our own but with a 2 3/4 shell instead of a 2.5" like we use. This is a common caliber for civilian and police work and appears in the SAIGA too. The Russians split their shot into two major sizes. The larger shot appears to be roughly analogous to our newly introduced 0000 Buck loading as it is just slightly bigger than 000. The other loading that the Russians love is #4 Buckshot. In this .410 type loading, they can get 10 pellets in a hull. The larger 0000 type pellet would fit 3 pellets in a hull of this size.

In the SAIGA 12 gauge, the #4 can muster the same 27 pellets as we do in our own 12 gauges. In the TOS-23, you can easily get 60 pellets in the hull.

Under my system, I divide the pellet count by 5 for #4 Buckshot to derive the number of Damage Dice so you would have...

Short Range = 1 To Hit roll at an AVERAGE chance for 2D6 Damage.
Medium Range = 2 To Hit rolls at an AVERAGE chance (with a +1 to each roll for pellet spread) with each hit doing 1D6.
Long Range = 1 To Hit roll at a DIFFICULT chance (with a +1 to the roll for pellet spread) with that hit doing 1D6.
Extreme Range = 1 To Hit roll at a FORMIDABLE chance with that hit doing 1D6.

IF you did a 3-pellet 0000 loading (similar to the US 3-pellet 000 2.5" defensive loading that came out for the Taurus Judge), You would get...

Short Range = 1 To Hit roll at an AVERAGE chance for 3D6+6 Damage to a single location (I actually use 3D8 for the new 0000 Buck).
Medium Range = 3 To Hit rolls (all upper or lower body) for an AVERAGE chance to hit doing 1D8 per hit (or 1D6+2)
Long Range = 2 To Hit rolls (whole-body) for a DIFFICULT chance to hit doing 1D8 per hit.
Extreme Range = 1 To Hit roll for a FORMIDABLE chance to hit, doing 1D8 per hit.

I don't actually know. I don't think so, I'll have to look...

The TP-82 got a write-up in Protodimension #22, and I also took a stab at it in the Dark Conspiracy RPG Fans Facebook group back in 2018. Here was my write-up of it:

I know Lee did a write-up of this in Protodimension #22, but I wanted to tackle the Russian cosmonaut survival gun, the TP-82. This is a three-barrel gun, with the top two barrels being 12.5x70mm shotgun barrels (effectively 40 gauge - 40 gauge is 12.4mm) and the bottom barrel being chambered for 5.45x40mm (a soft-nose version of the 5.45x39mm used in the AK-74 - either gun will chamber either round, but they were marked differently to avoid mixing up FMJ and soft ammo). A machete could be rigged to the gun as a stock (with a cap over the blade to make it relatively safe to use as a stock), effectively making it a carbine. The gun has 30cm barrels and is 36/67cm long (without/with stock) and 1.6/2.4 kg in mass (ditto).

This gun was part of the Soyuz emergency pack in the 80s, 90s, and early 00s, with 11 rounds of 5.45mm, 10 birdshot rounds, and 10 flare rounds.

Gun without stock:
Shotgun: ROF 20 (birdshot), Dam -1, Pen Nil, Bulk 2, Mag 2i, SS 6, Rng 10
Rifle: ROF SS, Dam 2, Pen 1-Nil, Bulk 2, Mag 1i, SS 4, Rng 10

With stock:
Shotgun: Change Bulk to 4, SS to 4, Rng to 32
Rifle: Change Bulk to 4, SS to 3, Rng to 31

The number of shot in the shell is estimated based on US size F birdshot being 27 to the ounce and the SP-D shell being estimated at 0.75 ounces of shot. If you're using d10 damage dice instead of d6, Dam should be -2.

I also wrote up its competitor, the TOZ-81 Mars:

Also, a space gun I didn't know about until about half an hour ago, the TOZ-81 "Mars." It never entered production, the TOZ-82/TP-82 being preferred. This one's interesting because it's a revolver that fires from the bottom of the cylinder, it's set up so the barrel and chamber combined are 33.6 of the gun's 35.5 centimeters of overall length, and the barrel can be swapped out to fire either 5.45x39mm or .410. It also has an over-barrel swiveling bayonet, which seems a bit over-the-top in more ways than one.

For purposes of calculating recoil, I used a mass of 1 kilogram since I couldn't find an actual mass. If it had entered production, my guess it it would have been issued with 10 rounds of each type of ammunition.

5.45x39mm: ROF DAR, Dam 2, Pen 1-Nil, Bulk 2, Mag 5R, SS 6, Rng 9
.410 (buck): ROF 3 (buckshot), Dam 1, Pen Nil, Bulk 2, Mag 5R, SS 6, Rng 8
