Default Box art

Does anybody have the box art of ver1, with the HMMWV in the background and a trio of characters in front of it? I've downloaded several versions off the net, but when I resize them to 8.5 x11 (paper size) the image gets blurry.

Glad to help. I think it is funny that I still remember the characters names. Except I don't think they ever named the woman behind the grenade launcher.

I didn't know they had names. Are they supposed to be the characters mentioned in the little char-gen vignettes?

It's not the best piece of art but it brings back a lot of fun memories from my younger days.

I seem to recall on the box you could read one of the name tags (I cant on this image) and it matched the vignettes.

The blonde has always reminded me of a girl I used to run around with when I was younger, and the black dud makes me think of that character on "Family Guy"

The blondes' name tag is very blurry... but i think it reads "Walters" while the brunette behind the grenade launcher.. her nametag is a major blur... i think her last name starts with an "F"

I have a list of questions to ask Frank Chadwick if I ever meet him. I will add this one but probably but that near the bottom

I always pictured Bobby Lee as a perky blond with a pony tail, who would normaly opt for the issues soft cover or BDU cap instead of the kelvar.

I gave her the last name of Logan and using the line about learning her field craft and combat skills from her "brothers" I made several brothers, and her father all run as characters at one time or another. One was an apache piliot, another a mech infantryman in the middle east, one with the 10th and one in Korea and one in Europe. All in all I had the idea they had 5 brothers plus her. I always thought it was a nice tactic to have PCs with family and giving them a history and hey, ya get more background if you play them right?

The black guy sort of reminds me of CSM MacIntosh at my first active-duty unit at Ft. Stewart (2/21 INF at 24th ID), but CSM MacIntosh was taller.

I have the T2k V1.0 rules on PDF, it's why i was able to make the picture as large as I could to read the name tag... if you want, i can make a BMP file of it made really large. I just need a way to get it to you.

I do this because there is nobody else to do it right now. Believe me if there was somebody else to do it, I would let them do it. There's not, so I'm doing it.
