Default general plan for future ftf sessions

since we are disperesed around california/nevada with our "loyal" henchmen - a safe and fuel-efective transportation-method must be obtained. After discussions with Airmarshall Willis (tranmarshall) - his panzer train is the solution

The Panzer Train is always ready to accommodate you, Sirs of Whatever is left of California. I'm working on clearing the way to Bakersfield and further south.
All help appreciated.

Default interesting

We must get HQ to place "holes" in the train-network. So we can take routes that don't go through nuke-blasts etc....

A detailed train-map of LA / "mordor" and or California could prove usefull.

It seems it's 3 metros and loads more above ground.... metros have been discussed in the main forum

Default Survival Strategy

I will have to agree on RW's comment that we have to many fires burning.

In my humble opinion (in the degree General Pain can be humble) we have to work together if we are to survive

Default I... I shall surviiive...

Should we try to decide on what perimeters to defend? Maybe we can shack up together, like in the old days? Pyjama parties all night!

Default Back to school

Should we maybe shack up together like in the old days, and concentrate our resources on one area?

What Do we do about MilGov Asia fleet rolling in? We are no where near the 10k men they presumably have, but on the other hand, as autumn and winter progresses, they will have huge problems finding housing and food for that many people. If they're looking at Kodiak for lodging, they're in for a rude surprise. That city only held about 10k people back in 2008, and these days, no more then a third of that. I'm considering burning some of the derelict houses

Well I was thinking of detonating yet another nuke - when milgov get's there - this is however a dirty bomb. - but it would certanly give us more time and it stop-s them on their TREK towardss us. - but maybe they are heading towards alaska for the oilfields held by the civgov operatives?

A dirty bomb is not in any practical way comparable to a real nuke, jeez.

Lightbulb A stranger is a friend you don't yet know..

It may seem that this whole situation has been blown somewhat out of proportions. Why don't all of you take a deep breath in and a deep breath out, open up your third eye, real wide, and contemplate this:

The approaching remnant MilGov forces, are now lodging at Kodiak naval base, courtesy of Rupert Willies hospitality. We have entered into an agreement where they are allowed to stay at Kodiak for a definite period of time, while they are looking for more permanent lodgings. They are a mix of soldiers and their families, all looking for peace (and food) and friendship in a New America!

I have extended a hand of friendship, and welcomed them into my comforting arms, and hope to make even better friends with them in the close future.

Needless to say, there will be no bombs, dirty or otherwise, going off at Kodiak.

Talking I suggest

that we keep our personal keeps for now, but devise a plan for capturing an un-nuked location which can provide

- a permanent base of operations where we stand as equals
- fuel
- food
- possible underground bunker/factory/cloning vats etc etc
- easy access to airstrip/port
- easy escape routes
- any other relevant post-apoc resources
- and located so far from any of the other former major factions mil/civ/ndp
