Default Macro combat?

Anyone do the macro combat battle of Warsaw? My group bypassed that module, and I was wondering if anyone played it and how easy/hard it was. I also would like to know if you used the included map or if you made your own.

Thanks in advance.

I've never played that module either, but I've tried the same Macro Combat rules -- and they're really unwieldy. You're better off, if you can find it, to get a copy of Last Battle and tweak to taste. Even a scratch-built new Macro Combat system is better than those in the Warsaw module -- and I'll bet pretty much anyone here is smart enough to come up with some.

That is what I thought. I also have the "last Battles" game and have already converted the combatants forces to last battle stats

There were mass combat rules in the World Tamer's Handbook for TNE, which would be usable with not too much work for T2K 2.x.

If you're a fan of T2K v1, there's a set of quick-and-dirty minis rules in Challenge #25 or #26 (I forget which) that worked out nicely. They were an outgrowth from the macro combat rules but worked much better when I used them a few times.

I haven't looked at my copy of Last Battle in ages, but IIRC that was essentially the 'house system' version of the Challenge rules.
