Default Time to get serious

Ok, Im going to start posting some short adventures here, Im also going to see if they will fit on the T2K wiki. See what you think.

This one is the first of a three part series of the 7th ID Engineer Battalion during a retreat from China, and trying to get south of the 38th Parallel.

Fast Attack is designed as another quick adventure, with several options. I originally designed it for Iran, but I think I might make a modification for Europe as well.

Have you thought of submitting some of these adventures to the Twilight: 2000 fanzine?

I think adventure modules would be a good inclusion to the fanzine.

Sounds like a plan to me Grimace, can I also get links to the fanzine?

Right now I have a need to get something T2K done in addition to making ready for my player group (which is pretty much complete). Ill post these here, submit them to the fanzine, and send them to the T2K wiki when I have time. I just cant see writing these up and not having them out for GMs to use.

TRAP is another Iran scenario involving rescue of shot down aircrew. This also has the cover template I got from Chico.

Perhaps we should edit the title of the Good luck, you're on your own! thread to include something like (T2K fanzine thread)?

Could be a good thing to do. Perhaps someone with moderator status could do something like that.

MacGuyver's Engineers is part two of the 7th ID Engineers trilogy. The name comes from the name of the surviving CO of the battalion when I built all the PCs, and was originally unintentional until I thought it would fit pretty well with the scenario.

Saving Davis Monthan was originally designed as a four hour convention scenario, but there wasnt even close to being enough time. We felt it should either be broke into three parts or used as a mini campaign.

I'm thinking Groom Lake could also be used a landing site?

Perfect, even better if there is a rail line going there from Nellis.
Also, anyone wanting to use and modify what I have here, please go for it. Its my intention to get this stuff out for playing and its not chipped in stone.

Bah, thats a lot...

Thanks KOTA! I am looking into this forum from time to time and i started playing (actively as a GM) only 3 years ago.
It hit me like a hammer when a former girlfriend of mine got me a lot of T2k-PDF´s as a birthday-present in 2007. Then it took me a while to find some players interested into the setting.

From this forum alone the amount of playable scenarios on my PC at least doubled.
And now all these gems... I dont know if we ever get to play´em.
Maybe if my group still lives, when we hit the retirement-home or something... We´ll see.

But i am so looking forward to it !

Thanks Tom, more to come. Im almost out of what I have fully written up, but almost finished with a few more.

At this point, I also think I may need some Moderator and/or Member help. I have two BIG ones finished that are less scenario and more game module. Pacific Fleet is 295k in .doc form without the cover, and Iron Triangle has to be similar. Doing the final hammering for both and they should be ready in a couple of weeks.

Perhaps Paul might be able to do something with them like he has with the fanzine and a few other docs?

Holding the line is pretty much hack and slash with mechanized forces. Its one of two scenarios representing whats going on at the front while the 5th Infantry Division is getting plowed under. I also added a detailed OOB for the 36th ID, and that adds to the length of the document. I also know we've had the "J company" discussion, but if it bugs you, feel free to change it.

I'm waiting for that. Mainly because I don't remember the subject or what advice I gave -- I'm lucky if I remember my name these days...

Leg, it's just something that happens along with marriage. Or binge drinking. Either one works, though the pathophysiology is a bit different. Booze melts your brains while marriage just automatically severs the connection between auditory organs and the brain upon hearing certain code words. ;-)

I'm not married though - just "existing in sin" with the neighbour.

One step further than "Friends With Benefits."
