There is hardly anything to work out except maybe the weight. It is just a pair of 870s sharing a few components.

I was wondering about recoil, and how much the extra weight would help compensate for for the recoil of both barrels firing at once.

The recoil would be worse, not better, because the weight is less than two 870s by themselves. There are some shared components it seems.

Say double recoil plus one for the slightly lower weight? I haven't got my books to hand at the minute but I'm thinking that might work?

Sounds reasonable to me. When firing single shots the extra weight would help to counteract the recoil a bit, perhaps minus one?

I reckon double weight is near enough, plus it'll account for some of the encumberance of the weapon - its hardly the smallest and easiest weapon to carry. Plus 3 bulk I reckon is a fair amount as well.

How's this one sound for you General? The Mag 20 Freeway Blocker. Made from two Mag 10 road blockers
