Default Modern Campaign Help

Hello All,

I'm getting ready to run a Twilight 2000 2.2 game using the Poland campaign. I want to set it in a "modern" timeline (ie, 2015 ish) and was looking for pointers. In particular, I was hoping for supplement weapons / vehicles / equipment that bring the 2.2 material up to date.

Thanks

Welcome to the site c909.
I'd recommend you have a look at Paul Mulcahy's site at http://www.pmulcahy.com/
He has plenty of post-1996 weapons and vehicles
Also The Big Book of War http://www.thebigbookofwar.50megs.com/whats_new.html
Those crazy guys from Norway have a lot of material there
And perhaps this site will give you some ideas http://www.brassbricks.com/rpg/twheel/tw2014.htm

Welcome to the group, errr, uh, what does the 909 stand for in your screen name? And what kind of game is it going to be? PBEM, PB chat or a real face to face campaign?

The game will be face-to-face (the "909" is a reference to a Roland drum machine, not something military related

Heh...I'm hoping the players take to it. I have a small group that's been playing 4e for the last year or so. Half of us played rpg's in high-school / college and the other half's first experience was 4e. I'm seriously bored of 4e and recently tried call of cthulhu, which didn't go so well with the new players. I'm hoping this takes

Good Luck with the campaign, as other popinted out we have a lot of info on our site.
Also:

check out the campaign forums for additional inspiration
there are also a thread somewhere in this forum - T2K GM help(or smth)
if you need pix - google is good but I usually prefer this site
www.cghub.com

In regards to your name (909) i actually thought it was the roland 909 reference in question (I soooo want one or 2) apart from that check out my dj mixes here...

www.soundcloud.com/dj-hova

there is also some ideas for mood music on our site..

Latest tip which we used last F2F session was www.somafm.com - it's a free radiostation without commercials - DroneZone is the most T2Kish station there..

That's all 4 now

GP out..
PS:Good Luck on the campaign
