Default Post Apocalyptic Gunsmithing

I saw a link on another forum to a discussion thread about making an AK stock and receiver from a shovel. It's not too different from the stuff the gunsmiths in Pakistani frontier towns have been doing for a while (the inspiration was the picture of a shovel-stocked AK recovered in Afghanistan that folks might have seen along the way), but it has a nice step by step on how the process works that seems like it has some T2K relevance.

I wonder if the bayonet has a shovel blade...
