Interesting review. I almost signed up so I could post a comment mentioning that T2K is still loved by many and that the original game (not just Twilight: 2013) is still being played. Unfortunately ennui got the better of me and I just couldn't be bothered.

Thanks but I'm not worth too much by way of Thanks really, I actually didn't think of linking here until after making my comment and coming back here and reading General Pain's request.
I wanted to comment over there because I felt most people there simply assumed that Twilight was dead, buried & forgotten and I also felt very strongly that Allen Varney's comment (that Twilight is a moral vacuum) was and still is wrong. |

Thanks to Adm. Lee for finding the blog and thanks also to SSC for plugging our forum. It would be neat if folks found us here via the link. There are more T2Kers out there, I reckon, than it may seem.
I particularly like this blog quote being as it captures the way I feel about v2.2: "GDW attempted to revamp the game in the early 90s to take into account contemporary history, but the result was a flat, unbelievable game, lacking all the historical and cultural markers that made the first edition so potent."
