Favorite Campaign Setting
I hope this isn't a repeat poll, but I ran a search and didn't come across one like it. Options listed are those for which a sourcebook or multiple canonical modules are currently available. I'd love to hear your "why" in the comments.

You left out the UK as well. Not that I blame you for forgetting about the canon Survivor's Guide to the United Kingdom - I mean, I can't for the life of me imagine why anyone would want to use it but it does exist.

I knew I was missing something. Added UK and Sweden to the poll options.

I miss Germany on the list, but I would be really interested in a campaign set in former Yugoslavia and the Adriatic Balkans.

I can add Germany to the list. I'd forgotten about how much information on the country was provided by Going Home. I wouldn't consider GH a sourcebook, per se, but it probably contains enough to qualify Germany for the poll.

Poland but I revamped pretty much everything after I learned that GDW didn't know anything about the East Bloc but to be fair almost nobody did at the time.
On the plus side I include all of NATO bar Turkey and all of the WTO in the war so you get to be any flavour of troop you want. |

I voted for Poland as that is clearly my favourite but I've played that setting so many times now I also find that it's rarely something new and exciting. Therefore I've quite liked different, non Poland settings recently as the location can provide a "fresh" feel to the game.
I've not yet tried a Sweden game though, as the pronunciation of place names terrifies me! 😃 |
