Just did one about an hour ago. Primarily fixes, like I've been doing lately, but also an update of the EE-T1 Osorio, and a total re-write of the British Centurion tank. (It's incredible how many just British variations of the Centurion there were, and I'm sure I didn't account for them all...)

It was "the Terror in Rapid City" - and no zombies , just a goverment experiment to chemically control the masses gone wrong - slaughter wrong..

But it was a good one -agreed.

Only problem with "zombie like massacre sessions " is that you have to wait for ages before doing another -or the shock wont register with the players -it becomes routine..

Also a must is to make sure that it only occurs when the characters are relatively low on ammo.

A formula for this would be :
number of enemy targets: X
number of PC ammo/rounds:Y
Number of PCs : Z

formula : Y= 1000X/ Z

did this make any sense ?

hehe

It reminds me of another session that involved "killer-mandrilles" in the sewers of NY, another government experiment...we barely survived that one....HQ do you not worrie that all of this Government Conspiracies Games you are running eventually inspire the US (or any other) to try some of you're ideas.

Just a small one this time:

The Izhmash RPK-74 is updated -- I found out that they now make one in 7.62mm Kalashnikov

The 6.5mm CBJ round has been added to the Pistol, Revolver, and SMG rounds

And --

Took me a while, but a big re-write of the Chieftain tank.

In Russian Grenade Launchers, the KBI GM-94, TSKIB SOO GP-25/30, and the TSKIB SOO 6G-30 (replacing the RG-6 entry) have been updated.

In Russian Machineguns, the Kalashnikov PK entry has been updated; I learned of a new variant of the PK series, the AEK-999 Barusk -- it even has a sort of silencer! The Kovrov KORD was updated (I found out they are now offering it on the export market in .50 BMG), and the Molot NSV was updated in general.

In Czech Pistols, the CZ-45 Tomiska was updated -- primarily a nomenclature and history update.

In US Revolvers - Smith & Wesson 451-630, the Model 460460XVR was updated to account for the plethora of barrel lengths that were or are still offered, and because it can also fire .454 Casull and .45 Long Colt.

And -- in British Tanks, the Challenger was totally re-done.

A few more:

In Pistol, Revolver & SMG rounds: the 6x35mm KAC PDW and 9mm Belgian Nagant rounds were added.

In Russian Grenade Launchers, the KBI AGS-30 and KBTM AGS-17 entries were updated, and the KBI RGS-50 was added.

In Russian Special Purpose Firearms, the Izhmash IZH-34M and IZH-35M entries were combined; the TSNII TOCHMASH PSS was added (I thought I already had the PSS on my site, but I was mistaken), and the Tula NRS Scouting Knife was updated.

In British Tanks, the Leyland A-34 Comet and Vickers Defence Battle Tank entries were re-written.

In Chinese Tanks, the NORINCO Type 59 was re-written.

Belgian Automatic Rifles: a small blurb on the British version of the Minimi added.

Chinese Automatic Rifles: a bit of a factual update on the Type 81 LMG.

Czech Automatic Rifles: Added the VZ-52, and put the VZ-30 into the VZ-26 entry.

Danish Automatic Rifles: Added some historical data on the Madsen 1904.

Finnish Automatic Rifles: added some factual information on the Lahti-Salorenta m/26 and the Valmet KvKK-62.

Chinese Machineguns: Found about about an export version of the Type 85 in .50 BMG, and added it.

French Machineguns: Found out about a bunch of other calibers the Hotchkiss M-1897 came in.

Italian Revolvers: Found two new calibers and one other barrel length the Cimarron 1872 Open Top comes in.

Belgian Semiautomatic Shotguns: The Browning Maxus was added.

Russian Rocket Launchers: The RPG-18, RPG-22, RPG-26, and RShG-2 have been combined into one entry, as they are all evolutionary updates of the RPG-18. The RPG-27 has also been updated (mostly because I originally arranged the tables in a dumb manner).

Small Caliber Small Arms Rounds: Updated the 5.45mm Kalashnikov and 5.56mm NATO were updated. Added -- 5.56mm IOFB. 5.66mm MPS Dart, 5.8mm Chinese, 6.5mm Grendel, and 6.8mm SPC.

Just about ready to put up a few flares and star signals, and some rules governing them. I need to transfer the rules part from the jot pad I've been using to the computer.

I have been remiss about posting my updates; this post is going to be long because of it. To make things quicker for me, I'm going to cut and paste from Frontpage and then modify as appropriate.

08 Jun 09
The Files From Anders Larsson now has a link on the main page. The files themselves have also been moved and any previous links are invalid.
In Israeli Tanks The Tiran 4, 5, and 6 have been united into one entry and rewritten.
In Italian Tanks, the IVECO/Oto Melara C-1 Ariete and Oto Melara OF-40 have been rewritten.
In Small-Caliber Small Arms Rounds, the following rounds have been added: 4mm Ubüngsmunition, 6.5-284 Norma, and 7mm Remington Short-Action UltraMag. The .22-250 Remington, .220 Swift, and .243 Winchester have been updated to include the rare EtronX versions.
In US Antimateriel Rifles M-Z, the Vigilance Rifles VR-1 had been added.
In Czech Pistols, the CZ-75 P-01 has been updated.
In Swiss Pistols, the Brugger & Thomet TP-9 has been added, and the Steyr SPP entry removed from Austrian Pistols.
In US Pistols B, the Boberg XR-9 has been added.
In US Pistols D-F, the Dan Wesson Commander Classic Bobtail has been updated. The Dan Wesson Pointman Seven, Dan Wesson RZ-10, Dan Wesson Single Stack Custom, Dan Wesson Valor, and DoubleStar 1911 have been added.
In US Pistols R, the Ruger SR-9 has been added.
In US Semiautomatic Sporting Rifles S-Z, the Weatherby Mk XXII Deluxe has been updated.

20 May 09
In Iranian Tanks, the DIO T-72Z and DIO Zulfiqar have been rewritten and updated. The separate Safir-74 and T-72Z entries were describing the same vehicle (though I didn't know it at the time) and so the Safir-74 entry was removed; the M-47M entry is under US Tanks.
In Iraqi Tanks, the T-55/Type 59 (Iraqi-Modified) entry has been updated.
In Israeli Tanks, the M-51 "Isherman" has been rewritten and updated, and also now includes the M-60 entry (the M-51 with the HVMS gun), which has been moved here from Israeli Tracked Light Combat Vehicles. The Magach series of tanks has been made into one entry, and includes the old Israeli-modified M-48A5 entry and the Sabra entry; it too has been re-written and updated. The M-60A1/120 entry has been removed, as it was simply a prototype way-stop on the way to the Sabra. The Rhino entry has been removed; I have not been able to verify that the Israelis ever offered such an upgrade kit. The Merkava entries have been unified, re-written, and updated. The Sho't entry has been re-written and updated.
In Czech Pistols, the CZ-2075 RAMI has been updated.
In German Pistols H-K, the Heckler & Koch P-7 and P-9 have been updated.
In US Pistols K, the Kimber Custom Shop Family has been added, which also includes a number of entries that were previously individual entries.
In US Pistols R, the Rock River Arms LAR-15 has been added.
In US Semiautomatic Sporting Rifles Ra-Ro, the Remington R-15 VTR has been added. The Rock River Arms A4-Varmint has been updated to include the A4 Predator Pursuit.
In US Special Purpose Firearms, the Ruger Charger has been added.

25 Apr 09
In Salvadoran Tracked SP Antiaircraft, the M-114 SPAA has been updated.
In Indian Tanks, the Avandi T-55 Upgrade and the Avandi Vijayanta have been updated.
In US Antimateriel Rifles M-Z, the VM Hy-Tech VM-50 has been added.
In Spanish Machineguns, the Alfa has been updated.
In Singaporean Machineguns, the ST Kinetics 50MG has been updated.
In German Pistols L-M, the Mauser C/96 and Mauser M32(M712) have been updated.
In German Pistols N-Z, the Schwarzlose M-1898 has been updated.
In Spanish Pistols - Astra, the Astra 400 and 900 entries have been updated.
In US Pistols K, several Kimber entries have been added or combined: The Kimber Aegis Series, CDP Series, Covert Series, Crimson Carry Series, Gold Match Series, Rimfire Series, Tactical Series, and Ultra Carry Series.
In British Revolvers, The Enfield No. 2 Pistol Revolver has been updated.
In US Bolt & Lever-Action Shotguns, the C-MORE XM-26 MASS has been updated.
In Spanish Submachineguns, the Star Si-35 has been updated and put into an entry that includes its variants, the RU-35 and TN-35.
In US Sniper Rifles C-F, the Chey-Tac M-200 Intervention has been added.
In US Sniper Rifles R-S, the Remington 40-X (Tactical Version) has been updated.
In US Semiautomatic Sporting Rifles Ra-Ro, the Remington 24 has been updated.
In Best Battle Rifles That Never Were, the Springfield T-26 "Tanker" Garand has been added.

And I finally popped into my web editor and put up a few more tidbits and changed one of the pictures and a few other changes under the hood.

Two updated orbats: the Pact overall (at Front/Army/Division level, the regimental and battalion level needs a little more cleaning up but is 95% there!) and the Iranians, both the Army and the Pasdaran.

And two new orbats: the Bulgarian People's Army and the Romanian Army. Both have some mobilization-only units that have never been seen in English! (And, unfortunately, some mobilization-only units that I was forced to use historical unit IDs on due to a complete lack of any information online in any language...).

And the Korean theater should be ready soon. I'm working out one issue with the ROK, and am only part way on the NKPA (which is a nightmare in itself!)
