i normally use 8 1/2" x 11" stationary type paper. it's the same touch and feel as the expensive sketch paper... and comes in at a very, very cheaper cost.
And i have gotten my hands on .005 and .03 art pens that allows me to do even sharper detail work.  i'm working on a cover for the V1 box cover... i posted the first part (the Humvee) that is going to be in the background. and I am working on the characters who will be in the foreground... planning on using the look of some of the characters whom are on the v2 cover for a couple of them. When i do the Merc 2000 cover artwork, i'll post them here too.

Fuck being a hero. Do you know what you get for being a hero? Nothing! You get shot at. You get a little pat on the back, blah blah blah, attaboy! You get divorced... Your wife can't remember your last name, your kids don't want to talk to you... You get to eat a lot of meals by yourself. Trust me kid, nobody wants to be that guy. I do this because there is nobody else to do it right now. Believe me if there was somebody else to do it, I would let them do it. There's not, so I'm doing it.
