Another "dirty trick" I have first hand experience with (in f***ing Texas no less) is adding a gallon or two of water (preferably salt water or water laced with sand) to the fuel systems of most vehicles. This will overwhelm the water filter/particulate strainer and starve the vehicle of fuel in from a few minutes to a couple of hours of operation (depending on how much water is added to the fuel). My Pete (with TWO separator/strainers) was disabled by 1 gallon of sea water added to my passenger side tank. The downside is that any mechanic will know what happened and be able to fix it by draining the fuel system and changing the filters. The upside is that this is a cheap and easy way to disable a valuable vehicle. If you win the fight and capture the disabled vehicle; You can very easily restore that vehicle to function as well.
