Has anyone considered the possibility that perhaps the nuclear war Morrow discovered in the future actually occured in the late 70s under Nixon's second term...and Morrow helped arrange the Watergate scandal to scuttle Nixon's presidency in order to change the future and stave off the war until 1989, thereby allowing him time to complete the Project?
