Thanks for the heads up, I'll check that out. The first time I played through, the story line was confusing as hell! But once the 'bomb' dropped (literally) then it suddenly all made sense. I wasn't really crazy about the surprise Chinese invasion either, but after all, it is just a game.

Oh HELL yeah! I got this on Steam a few years back.
Ten bucks currently... and so is the Complete version, with the Soviet Assault campaign.
World in Conflict: Complete on Steam

And as usual, the same deal on Steam in Australia has the price doubled. Unbelievable. Digital download so they can't argue that they have higher overheads here. They just know that Australia is doing comparatively well economically and people are prepared to pay more. It's a scam. So much for free trade.

no targan that is free trade. they're free to rip off gullible fools. and you're free to tell them to go kiss a piranha while you go to a better seller.
(you're also free to replace piranha with some more suitable flora/fauna)

That's the free market, charging what people will pay for a good. But keep your eyes open, Steam is renowned for doing flash sales, even unannounced.
