"Infantry Combat" by John Antal is kind of like the JV version of T2K! It still rests on by bookshelf and from time to time I still pull it out and roll a d6.

Thanks for the new book to hunt for!

I did have the basics of infantry, but I was in motor pool. So I'd made a point to assemble a library. I also have John Antal's Armor Platoon somewhere. OT, met a regular army MONG cadre who dusted off his old "Big Bad War" books to train his unit. Land Nav was fun when he had a box for all GPS app capable devices. They got a map and the protractor. The Old Man help convince the platoon leaders to play ball. I filed that story for game filler.
