For what it's worth, even in a heavy brigade, or the modern incarnation, the ABCT, there's only about 250 maintenance personnel across the entire brigade, scattered in maintenance companies for in-field maintenance with the combined arms battalions, and concentrated in an element in the support battalion for heavier work at the brigade level, and this is out of just a couple hundred shy of 5000 personnel.
As to drivers, when you chop light vehicles out to infantry in a lighter brigade, or if they're pushed trucks for provisional use in a heavier element, they're driving themselves. Same for the Bradleys, and M113s. Those crew are all infantry. Prime movers for artillery, it's the same thing. The guys behind the wheel of that deuce-and-a-half is a redleg. ADA prime movers, same thing. They're all dudes in that MOS.
The only dedicated truckers you got are the dudes driving supply vehicles.
