Damocles & unmanned vehicles..
Hi everyone,
I have a question related to Damocles. Mainly about unmanned ground, aerial and maritime vehicles thanks to the 'Black Knight' thread in the T2k forum. Does anyone have good reference pictures of current, future or past projects that might be something to get an idea to base upon those being used by Damocles?

Your wife can't remember your last name, your kids don't want to talk to you... You get to eat a lot of meals by yourself. Trust me kid, nobody wants to be that guy. I do this because there is nobody else to do it right now. Believe me if there was somebody else to do it, I would let them do it. There's not, so I'm doing it. |

allegedly this one is currently deployed
http://defense-update.com/products/g/guardium.htm THis site is always useful http://www.armadainternational.com/0...ticle-full.cfm SEE ALSO http://www.spawar.navy.mil/robots/pu...st95-nopix.pdf (no pictures - but it might give hints for Google searches) For use 'inside' Damocles, tracked ones like the TALON/SWORDS would be good. Various real-world UGV's are mentioned here. MAARS looks scary http://thefutureofthings.com/pod/102...e-to-kill.html But - for really disturbing - I recommend the 'Crusher'. See details (including project brochure) here. I was thinking of teaming a Scientific-ONE with a pair of these http://www.rec.ri.cmu.edu/projects/crusher/index.htm |

Nate a reworking of Damocles has been something I have been working on for a long time so I look forward to your work.
I'm pretty sure you check both boards and will probably have seen this, but other visitors might not. Here is an interesting pic of an RPV from the T2k board. http://forum.juhlin.com/showthread.php?t=1395 |
