Twilight 2000 in scale
Aaron 12-10-2005, 03:17 PM For the past couple of years there has been a T2000 group build over at Armorama, it has grown quite a bit now with people adding pretty complex back stories to the builds. Thought it might be interesting for some here as it offers some gaming ideas as well as visuals of some of the Twilight equipment as well as stuff people have made up for a Twilight setting. The thing I find kind of neat is quite a few of the people building have never played twilight or even an RPG but they get into the time line and have fun with it.
For example here's a gun truck Twilight style http://photos.kitmaker.net/data/14694/Carnivore_0003.JPG Armorama Twilight campaigns (http://www.armorama.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=SquawkBox&file=index&r eq=viewforum&forum_id=35&g_id=128&page=1) ******************** Ed the Coastie 12-10-2005, 11:25 PM We've played out a couple of T2K battles (Escape from Kalisz was our favorite) using Warhammer 40k miniatures and skirmish rules. We used Valhallans for the Warsaw Pact troops and Caidians for the NATO forces; most of the PCs are represented by assorted Catachan figures. Vehicles were usually cobbled together from a variety of sources. ******************** gstitz 12-24-2005, 07:20 PM I made this 1/6 figure (and just found it while unpacking). http://www.ussvi.org/Vlad_2000.jpg It's based on a Vlad the Impaler figure, with a Russian uniform, Russian flak jacket and custom made AK... I can just imagine him as the head of a marauder group in Poland... ******************** |
