Default OT: Superbowl 2010

Not a huge fan of American football but I have to admit it was a good game. Congrats to the New Orleans Saints. Nice to see something go right for New Orleans after all of the pain that city has been through.

I'm in San Antonio, so I keep track of the Spurs NBA (basketball) team. Couldn't care less about football.

Who Dat!

I'm actually a fan of the local football team where I am, but was rooting for the Saints.

As a national radio host said earlier today, everyone under 25 who watched the halftime show were probably thinking "Who are these grandpas?" and "Why are they singing the CSI theme?"

Obvious you have neve been to The Big Easy, I think of their luck as something akin of biblical or devine retribution.

Okay,

The WHO played for the Superbowl Halftime show. And the WHO's song "Who are you" is the theme song for CSI <the one that takes place in Las Vegas> since The Who are an old band, and there have been ALOT of jokes to that effect such as "Who will win the Superbowl and will they break a hip" jokes going around. Whereas most younger people today will know the "Who Are You" song as the them to CSI they have no clue it was a song before the TV show or a actualy group played it for many many years before.

Sadly, I fell asleep after the first quarter, woke up very briefly during the halftime show, then fell back asleep, then finally woke up for good well into the 4th quarter, after the Saints scored to go ahead.

The famous Abbott and Costello routine of "Who's on First".

If you ahve never seen it, you must. Slapstick comedy at its' finest
