Default A Sad Message

I don't know how many of you on this forum know this but Tom Mulkey, author of "Gateway to the Spanish Main" and "Urban Guerilla" passed away several years ago. He was my friend and fellow Vietnam veteran as well as a T2K colleague.
May he rest in peace.

My condolences of the loss of your friend.

I was not aware of his passing. I hope some solace can be found in the fact that his work is still appreciated here.

I heard some rumblings to that effect, and I am sad to hear that's true, Frank.

That's sad to hear.

"Gateway" is one of my all-time favorite modules!

That's a huge loss. Gateway is one of my favourites also.
I have fond memories of hordes of Rastifarian Grenadians stuffed onto heavily overloaded buses with streams of smoke trailing along behind.
It was grand final week for the football with the 1st week of cricket season just around the corner.

Truly a loss to us all, Mulkey's modules are (I think) a contrast in the lightest and the darkest that Twilight 2000 had to offer. As a GM he truly challenged me to keep up with him in terms of the depth of his modules. Insipred me to write what I could.

Gateway is a good module, but Urban Guerrilla is one of my favorite for any game system. Dark and unpleasant shades of gray done brilliantly.

i'm sorry to hear Mr. (isn't it actually CPT(R)?) Mulkey is no longer with us.

How sad to learn of his passing; both modules were filled with layered plotlines, great danger and great opportunities (AB Buzco vs. the salvagers, figuring out how to save the enslaved shipmakers/families without them being blown to bits), complex characters (ship's captain, NA female area commander). A loss to gamers and to his friends.
