Default Next Session

ahhh

Only a little over 2 weeks till next session in HQs campaign....This time we're actually gonna play on a historical "site" - one of our members (Fieldmarshal DeCorba) lives on an estate outside Fredrikstad - and on the grounds around the last standing battle between Norway and Sweden was situated. - I believe a swedish General actually lost his life here...

"The Battle of Kjolberg Bridge"

some info can be found here:

well we had a lot of different plans for solving this intricate riddle....

1 frontal assault
2 stealth/james bond/mission impossible
3 spy-game solution - fake names etc.
4 assault by waterway--

option 3 was the one we used

2 players assumed fake names of soldiers we had captured (shoreleave) and brought the suitcasenuke into the base and escaped....later we managed to capture a helicopter and a crop-duster - and after that we managed to capture an old passengerjet and flew to friendly bases in japan and uboat to the west-coast of the us

simultainiously milgov and later any other states with available nukes used what they had and ww5 was a fact.

So in other words it seems we're playing night 2000 since ithe twilight of man is extinguesd,,,

Our proud pacific government lays in ruins once again with each of the players spread out in california with a handfull of followers....

next sdession in 2009.......the waiting is unbearable

(hopefully HQ will add to this post)

The neo fascist party that ruled their home areas sent them on a wild chase across the globe on a dreadful suicide mission and took over their holdings in the meantime .

But the party actually pulled it of -and survived the ensuing firefights as they shot their way through to an old airfield and hijacked whatever was moving .

The nuke in Subic meant retaliation and a third volley of nuclear weapons being unleashed -from those who still had them available.

Although numbering less than 10 000 warheads this volley hit fledgeling nations struggeling to recover -already vulnerable from the previous decade of conventional war and nuclear war. Also fallout is severe due to the fact that many more devices where dirty or actual dirty bombs. The dust and ash from the explosions and the smoke from the millions of square miles of fires that rage across the planet will blacken the sky for weeks.Fog will form over the oceans.temperatures will drop over the next few months .The Ozon layer will have ruptured-again .The amount of sunlight reaching the planet surface will be reduced by ..an unknown factor. (Again)

On the upside populations and organizations are more dispersed and more involved in cottage industry and agriculture than our previous western civilzation . And they are pretty much used to it . Some remoter areas will only notice a slight increase in daily dosimeter reading is all .Others will once more be burned to a fine radioactive ash.

as they say " he who liveth by the nuke shall perish by the nuke ".

I guess that ought to teach my players the lessons not to play with nukes !

Also the last apocalypse -they didnt start that one - the party sat out for 4 years in a below ground bunker .This time they are nicely situarted in the midst of the howling desperate bloodthirsty chaos that is the aftermath of the next session .

Wow, that's a lot of nuking guys. Looks like your crew really set off the apocalypse there. Maybe there'll come a time when your characters (or their descendants) will be operating like a team out of the Morrow Project after everything has crumbled into anarchy and radioactive dust....

second nuclear holocaust -well third if they count the "incidents" they have caused after the first global nuclear exchange.
