Book Review "ONE SECOND AFTER"
During a long trip from Hawaii to Virginia last week, I read a Book by William R. Forstchen "One second after" Very good book in my opinion about some of the things we talk about here and there effects. I dont wont to talk about the book and spoil it for you. 511 pages I read from Hawaii to virginia with a stop in chicago. If you want a good book in the likes of Alas, Babylon and on the beach pick it up and have a good read. Also not the book had a active duty US Navy Captian as the "tech" advisor for the large effects.

I recommend reading Mark W. Palmer's review of this book on Amazon from April 14, 2009.

Interesting review. Thanks for posting the link ShadoWarrior. And thanks Law for bringing this book to the forum's attention. I want to read it.

I read the book as well. Excellent read that moves quickly from page to page.
Forchsten is an excellent fiction writer. He tends toward historical fiction, what would have happened if?? He has written the Lost Regiment Series, Gettysburg series, Pearl Harbor series, Valley Forge and others. This is also a fiction, but looking forward vs. back. I think every one here will enjoy the book. My $0.02 Mike |
