Default Background and Montage Music

Heres one for game play. Does anyone else use background music or specific scene tunes?
Some of the track I love using are bits of the soundtracks for National Treasure, The Rock, The Postman, The Green Mile, and Pirates of the Caribbean to name some. Typically I like using tracks that aren't quite immediately recognizable.
Anyone else?

Bits I have used:

My City of Ruins/Born in the USA/No Surrender - Springsteen

Brothers in Arms - Dire Straits

Soldier, Soldier Soundtrack - Jim Parker

Hearts of Oak (old WFR regimental march) plus assorted other marches

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - Howard Shore - especially the battle themes

Saving Private Ryan Soundtrack: John Williams

Sharpe:Over the hills and far Away: John Tams

When Johnny Comes Marching Home

The Hunt for Red October - Bail Poledouris

Danny Boy

The Sound of a Gun/Have a Care/Leningrad/Oh My Brave Hearts/Borderline - Chris de Burgh

theme from Harry's Game - Clannad

Need a Lot of Love/On a Storytellers Night - Magnum

Medal of Honour Theme

Who Wants to Live Forever/Princes of the Universe - Queen

Protect & Survive/Going Home - Runrig

Soviet National Anthem

Going Home (from Gods & Generals) - Mary Fahl

You're in the Army - Status Quo

Song of the Volga Boatmen

And Then There Was Silence/Another Holy War/The Bards Song - Blind Guardian

A somewhat eclectic mix...

Thread necromancy here....

If you can find the song you want on YouTube, you can change it to an mp3 with www.snipmp3.com.

Sorry for the delay Tom, Im not sure if I have a player or two watching this thread these days, so Ill be a bit more general than I usually am...sorry.

Think rain and fast moving work. Could work for an air force or naval scenario, with ground crews or machinist mates working to get equipment working in the rain and dark, punctuated by lighting strikes. Supervisor or Player checking in on the work occasionally or helping out...and something goes wrong. Everything takes longer, people are getting cold and tired. Wrenches being bounced off the pavement or deck and cuss words flying around. Work keeps going and seems to take forever but eventually makes progress. As the work gets closer people get more tired and are taken off the work to prevent mistakes. Finally the work is finished but everyone is so worn out nearly nothing else can get done....maybe its time for a break. (At this point think Team Yankee...just before the withdrawl before dawn LOL)

I don't know if fits here, but Dire Straits' Brothers in Arms. I cry every time I listen to it.

Be good for a post-fight aftermath.
