Default Basic Kit...

This thread is going to be a place where people can put the personal kits of various nations.... I'm putting the personal kit of a character from one of my campaigns... a female US Army combat soldier...

while the character doesn't have all this by the time the game starts (it's up to the player to figure out what they are still carrying with them... or what is at the Battalion's Cantonment) this is to give an idea just what the characters are starting out with when the war had started. I do have a footlocker to add to this... when i find the stuff that is suppose to be in the footlocker i'll edit this to put all that in.

So if everyone can, write up the starting personal kits of the soldiers from the various nationalities of the Twiligth War. Starting out with the US Army... if you can come up with other nations and their various services it'd be a good thing for everyone to get some ideas

I do this because there is nobody else to do it right now. Believe me if there was somebody else to do it, I would let them do it. There's not, so I'm doing it.

So this would be T:2013 then...?
Just can't see any of that electronic gear in V1 or 2.x. Be hard pressed for many DVDs let alone a portable player.
MP3 players were not commercially produced, let alone wide spread until 1998. Say what you will about ramped up wartime production, but I don't think electronic entertainment devices fall into that accelerated development timeline...

The MP3's no for T2K. Likewise the DVD and especially the mini-DVD player -- DVDs were experimental at the time and so were the portable players. But the Toughbook -- we had similar computers at G3 for the field in the late 1980s. (Of course, they were running a version of DOS and DOSShell.)

thats notes from my timeline... where the V1 timeline is brought up to the 21st Century... the Sino-Soviet war starts in August 2000 and the Euro-Soviet War starts in Oct 2003. That's why the electonics are there.
