Poll: Art Style Preference
In a purely hypothetical and entirely academic exercise, if there was to be a new edition of Twilight (something that is utterly imaginary and could only come from a deranged mind), what would you, the potential readers like to see as far as art is concerned?
Would you prefer photos or digital images (black and white) or would you prefer art that more resembles the original version of Twilight and has been through a “pencil” filter? For example: Woman at Wire, Gray Woman at Wire, Pencil Smartphone, Gray Smartphone, Pencil |

Nothing says "Twilight:2000" to me like those old school v1 pencil tracings by Bradstreet.

I like the pencil art for general stuff, but a photo of weapons etc I think are better. Some of the pencil stuff for the vehicles and weapons was not much better than I can do, and I'm DEFINATELY not an artist. There's a time and place for each IMO.

I vote for pencil. It not good at explaining why but it had more "punch"!
I still remember some of the pic from the v1 manual even though I havent seen it in 20 plus years. I suppose it help some of them are taken from ral world pic that you come across now and then. Like in going home one of the pics is from Vietnam. |
