Found an old AAR - Battle of the Bridge
(An Old AAR from a battle I ran... not sure what version I was using)
BACKGROUND: The team is being lead by some Polish traders to Czestochowa down a old back road route across one of the few remaining Bridges in the area. They claim they have a truce with the local troops in the area because of certain "fees" they pay and hopefully they will not have to jeopardize the truce. They know that the bridge is guarded with a front checkpoint and the bridge itself by an ATGM. The team stops about a km from the first checkpoint and rearranges crew. Charlie and Bradley head off into the bush on foot to flank the checkpoint and are given 30 minutes to get into position. Tanner and Stokes are now in the UAZ, Diaz and the four Polish escorts are in the 5 ton truck (the team have set up sandbags in the back to protect the riders), Johnson is now the gunner on the BTR-80 with Ryan driving and Bishop is in the HMMWV. Tanner will take the lead, with the 5 ton truck right behind him. The BTR-80 is next and the HMMWV will be further back. Tanner will lure over the checkpoint guard (LNG Russian 80) with a bottle of vodka and when close enough Stokes or Tanner will kill him. Charlie should be in the back of the house by then and will take out the rear guard while Bradley takes out the remaining guard. The house will be carefully searched and uniforms and weapons taken. Once every thing is cleared out the 5 ton truck with Tanner driving now and Bishop set up in the back with his MG will take the lead. Right behind it will be the BTR-80 with Charlie and Ryan and their job is to take out the ATGM. The UAZ with Bradley and Johnson will be ready to rush up and Diaz with Stokes bring up the rear in the HMMWV. Bradley peeks into the window and sees his target watching as the convoy rolls slowly toward the waiting guard. He raises his rifle and checks to see Charlie enter the door towards the back of the house and silently wishes him luck. Charlie after carefully checking for boobytraps and any other hazards, on a whim tries the door handle and was surprised to see it unlock. He slid in the door and after checking out the room moved up to the other entrance and spotted his target standing by a table with his AK74 held casually in his right arm. Tanner put his pistol across his lap and rolled the UAZ to a stop. He waved the bottle of vodka at the approaching guard while Stokes slowly got his rifle ready too. "Comrade you look thirsty!" , Shouted Tanner in Russian (LNG 80). As the guard came up to the door, Tanner tried to raise his pistol but it got caught on the door handle and his first two shots hit the inside of the vehicle (DR 18 Miss, DR 8 Hit -Location Right Leg - Protected by Vehicle) but the third shot took the guard right between the eyes (DR 1 - Hit Location Head) killing him. Taking his cue, Bradley's first shot shattered the window (DR 7, Hit Location Abdomen - Dam 13) and his second took the guard in the chest (DR 9, Hit Location Chest - Dam 9) while his third shot missed as the guard collapsed to the floor. (DR 18). Charlie burst into the room and opened fire with his first two shots hitting the right arm and destroys the AKM (DR 5 Hit Location Right Arm, Dam 12/ DR 5 Hit Location Right Arm, Dam 12 - Arm destroyed and so is gun) and his third shot hit the gunman's Right Leg (DR 6, Hit Location Right Leg , Damage 9)... the guard is down and out with his right arm shattered and his right kneecap shattered. Tanner opens the side door of his UAZ and gets to the dead Ivan. He does a short check - what are the belongings of the guard! The AK and spare mags (if any) go into the car. If the guard had one (or more) hand grenades with him, Tanner will stuff these into his webbing. If Tanner finds any documents, papers, or the like, he will hand these to Stokes, after he gets back behind the steering wheel. Back in the car, Tanner will check for an Okay by Brad or the Captain. With an apologetic smile Tanner looks to Lt. Stokes: "Sorry, Lieutenant, I am a mediocre pistol fighter. Could have gone terribly wrong this time. I'm really good with a rifle, but you should do the pistol jobs in the future!" The rest is clear: Waiting for orders Tanner whistles some more of his seemingly endless repertoire of Clash songs. This time it could be "Guns of Brixton", but I'm not sure, if Stokes even cares for that ... Charlie says "Remind me that the safest place when Tanner has a pistol is behind several inches of armor plate!", then he searches the house quickly, pulling the mag out of the AKM and grabbing any more ammo, grenades etc.. First however he finishes off the guy to make sure he stays down - one right between the eyes. (Bloodthirsty but he doesn't want to get shot in the back while am searching the place) It is about a kilometer from the front house to the ATGM, and most of the shooting was inside when the pistol shots would be blocked by the house and trees. After a guick conference and to to protect the truce, Anders and the other three Polish guides will stay at the front checkpoint and protect your rear with the UAZ. Tanner will drive the 5 ton truck with Bradley and Bishop in the back with the MG and grenade launcher. He will try to appear drunk and wave and shout and sings (NON American songs) as they approach the turn near the ATGM. After the truck turns and Charlie takes out the ATGM, Tanner will turn the truck so that Bradley and Bishop can fire from the back of the truck. The BTR-80 with Ryan driving and Charlie as gunner and Stokes as passenger will be right behind and the moment the truck turns and the ATGM comes into view Charlie will take it out and then start raking the house with gunfire. Stoke and Ryan will get out of BTR and start sniping. Diaz will drive the HMMWV and Johnson will man the .50 cal and they will park behind the barricade and use the .50 to lay down fire. Charlie says "Everyone keep a sharp eye for whatever that other vehicle is that the scouts say is there but they dont know what it is. If its a tank or anything with a decent gun they will make short work of what we have. Get ready to hit it with our anti-tank weapons if it turns out to be bad news!" Tanner nods in consent. "Charlie's right." Turning to Bradley and Bishop, Tanner says: "Folks, I'll be driving the truck, pretending to be drunk, and afterwards drive to a suitable point near the road - I just don't see, how I could handle any antitank weapon. It has to be one of you. Brad, how about your skills with grenade launchers? Yep, I'm shure I don't have to remind you, but keep in mind, that the backfire of an RPG or the Carl Gustav could really do serious damage to our truck!" "I'm OK with a grenade launcher, but not great," Brad replied, "the Charlie G is the best bet, even a near miss should do the job. I'll prep the tube and then jump clear of the truck before firing. I'll need covering fire." "I'll leave the truck after parking it. With me and my G3 and Bishop firing the MG we can both assist you, Brad. Maybe we could team up, after I left the truck?" Charlie says "Make damn sure before you shoot that its worth an anti-tank round - dont want to waste one on a jeep or a BTR and then run into a T-72 and all we have is the 14.5 pop gun that we have!" "If you see guys head for that garage, waste them right there and then! If they are doing that its pretty sure they have something big there! Charlie's slated to take out the ATGM so I don't think dismounting is necessary," Bradley said, "I'll load up the Charlie G just in case but stay in the rear of the truck and use the MG as per the plan. If we see a threat that the launcher could deal with I'll dismount with it and take a shot." In general, Brad intended to stick with the plan but have the rocket launcher ready for emergencies. Tanner starts driving slowly down the causeway towards the ATGM and the barrier praying softly under his breath. About 100 metres away he leans out the window and shouts at the gunner while waving the bottle of vodka at him. Tanner spots two other guards at the turn off and whispers furiously for the guys in the back to be careful and take them out when the shooting starts. (DR - 18 ATGM guard relaxes and steps from ATGM and waves back) Ryan decides to help with the friendly troop role by sticking his head out the driver hatch and waving too meanwhile slowly bringing up his M16 to lie beside him. Charlie decides to wait until the HMMWV closes up behind him and has a shot at the two other guards before moving to catch up to Tanner who has already turned the corner allowing Bishop and Bradley to have a clean shot over the barricade. Charlie waits until Tanner suddenly makes a sharp left allowing the back of the truck to face the barricade and the house before he whips the turret of the BTR around and lets loose at the ATGM gunner. (DR -3 Complete surprise) . The ATGM and gunner are ripped to shreds as rounds pound into them. Ryan whips out his M16 and fires at the nearest guard (DR - 12,15,16 all miss because firing from vehicle). Stokes scrambles out of the BTR and starts sniping down the road leading to the bridge. Tanner fires at the guard that Ryan missed (DR 18, 02, 05) hitting him and (DR 1 - Head Shot Damage 9) killing him instantly. Bishop starts laying down fire on the doorway he can see at the front of the house, while Bradley fires at the guard near the front of the truck (DR 13, 07, 09) hitting him and (DR 4 Chest - DR 09) giving him a moderate wound. Stokes fires at B (DR - 20 weapon jams) Charlie fires the KPV at C (DR -17, 5, 6, 4, 1) First shot goes wild but the next shots slam around the MG with the last shot hitting and destroying the MG and the gunner.) Diaz moves behind the HMMWV and gets his medkit ready. M - N - J - make their moves (out of sight of team) Bishop fires the M60 at door of house and H (DR - 15, 5, 8, 10, 16) with the bullets ricochet around the doorway but none hitting the target. (H felt one bullet graze his arm and pulls his head back out of view) Bradley fires at one of the guys by the well E (DR - 16, 8, 9, 7, 2) with his last shot hitting the exposed chest hitting his body armor doing slight damage to him (loses initiative this turn). Tanner humming Coldplay fires at the other guy by the well D after checking to make sure the first guy Bradley hit is staying down (DR - 4, 14, 12, 8, 3) . Tanner's target takes two hits one to the head and the second to the chest killing him. A rushes forward trying to get to the protection of the barricade. B fires at Stokes who is trying to unjam his weapon. (DR - 9, 6, 12, 1, 10) with one shot hitting Stokes in the upper chest (right shoulder area) causing 17 damage and destroying his gun (Stokes has a serious wound) and drops. D is dead, killed by Tanner E is stunned this round from Bradley shot. Johnson fires the .50 at A (DR - 16, 3, 4, 18, 12) hitting him twice with the bullets ripping him apart (Dead) C- Machine Gunner is dead. P - Climbs into his vehicle. L is firing from window in house at Bishop in truck. (DR - 16, 16, 19, 12, 2) Shot hits Bishop's legs but they are protected by sandbags. H is stunned by close call and loses turn. G fires at Bishop in truck. (DR - 5, 18, 4, 8, 12) Shot hits Bishop's abdomen but is protected by sandbags. K moves positions. Ryan fires at B (DR - 7, 8, 20) with his gun jamming on the third shot. (B is living a charmed life) F moves from side of building to the back of the building. When Stokes got hit he automatically dropped behind the 3 foot high barricade so he is safe from cover. Diaz saw him go down and is heading that way. ************************************************** ***************

Sounds very familiar - I think this was from our campaign last year - I was the guy who went thru the door and nailed that guy with the pistol if I remember right
