December 16, 1944

The start of Hitler's last offensive, and the largest battle of the United States Army, the Battle of the Bulge started today. To the gallant soldiers of the 2nd Infantry, 4th Infantry, 28 Infantry and 99th Infantry Divisions, the 9th Armored Division and their attached units...Well Done and may your gallant actions that day never be forgotten!
