Default OT: The world just ended what are you wearing?

I was just thinking today as I packed my car again with loads of "extra" clothing. What the hell would I do if this was all I had/ what if I was stuck with the clothes and gear in my car.

Currently for extra items of clothing I have:

1 Gortex real tree camouflage hunting jacket with hood
1 100% wool Maine guide hunting camouflage wool pants
1 knit wool hat
1 pair knit wool gloves
1 knit wool scarf
1 pair knit wool socks

I also have a lot of odds and ends survival gear in my trunk. But no "bug out" stuff perse

I was just thinking about all this as I drove from Vermont to Maine in a horrible ice storm with blocked roads, accidents ect. It could just as easily be the start of the twilight war

Since I like to hike and fish...always keep a rucksack with a couple of days worth of survival gear and a set of mossy oak commies in my car.

Only clothes in the Jeep are a spare jacket with knit cap and knit gloves and a Air Force Survival Knife in the back. So I'm SOL there. Everything is at home in the bug out bag. This must be rectified.

I suggest set of wool long johns and long sleeve. Also maybe fleece jacket or wool sweater for insulation.

Maybe boots or good hiking shoes?

tarp ? sleeping bag or blanket ? small rucksack with metal mug or pot and spoon. plastic bottle.

for cold climate/season.

Hq

I have also have nylon long john shirt and pants, I typically wear a wool coat and sweater already, I also wear winter boots.

I also have a tarp, wool blanket, snow boarding back back with an aluminum mess kit pot, small beer can stove, HEAT for fuel. as well as other sundry items.

Probably a lot more surivival gear than most folks keep in there rig. I just drive from vermont to maine a lot and don't want to get caught in the weather freezing to death if something bad happens.

I also usally have some sort of gun in the trunk.
