Default Online gaming and VT's

I am thinking about Directing an online, real time, game of 4th edition MP. I have looked at skype as a possible connection point for playing the game. I also looked at a list of some VT (virtual tabletop) software for possible use for the game. Of course I'm looking to use one that is free. Does anybody have any experience with any of these VT's? Has anybody played an online, real-time game like this?

Default Not I

I haven't had any type experience of virtual gaming what so ever. Just a primitive face to face sort of gamer. Though I am willing to give it a go.

I played in a 9 month Traveller campaign that used www.roll20.net. Worked well. We met every Saturday for 3-4 hours. It's a LOT faster than PbP, but you have to have everyone on the same schedule. Roll20 has a nice of nice features.

I was a player in a "Fringeworthy" campaign using "Obsidian Portal" for the Campaign manager. Used "Diceroller" when chance or combat occurred.
