OT: Fallout 3
If you have an Xbox 360 or a decent gaming computer go get this game .... now.
Granted this game is a bit more apocalyptic than T2k but its still damn fun. I can't explain the joy I've had sneaking in and taking down raiders with a bolt action hunting rifle in the ruins of Washington, DC. Great for setting the mood and for quest ideas/locations/general ambiance.

Amazing you have mentioned this Haven.. I just spent all last weekend playing Fallout 3 on my PC. Absolutely fantastic, I can't recommend it highly enough. It has really creeped me out, wandering around the nuked out wasteland, exploring ruins in the DC area. Fantastic fun. I do have a couple of gripes though... the assault rifles have straight mags that look like 7.62N FN FAL mags but the description says they are 5.56mm. But if they are 5.56mm why do they only hold 24 rounds? Stupid.

Same with the Chinese Assault Rifle as well.
AK mags that only hold 24? But i just chalk it up to the alternate timeline and let it slide.... and kill some super mutants with my mini-gun and/or laser rifle! Seriously though... get this game!

I've been playing this game for weeks now...so fully awesome. I love the feel of it and that fact there are so many weird little side missions and odd places to explore. If only it has some working vehicles I feel it would be verging on perfect!

I picked up Fallout 3 for Christmas there, but haven't had much of a go at it yet - my life has been taken over by Left 4 Dead
 Anyone here playing it on X Box Live? If so send me a friend request and we can try and get playing together online, it really is awesome. My gamertag is TiggerCCW UK, same as on here.Some of the levels in L4D have definitely given me ideas for my next campaign - using the bit in the subways replace the infected with a pack of crazed dements et voila - a terrifying experience for PC's.
