OT Old school Board game taught me to survive
Forgot all about how I got into the Twilight scenario and survivalist interest in the first place until I ran across a Facebook group about old Avalon Hill board games and I remembered a game they had called Outdoor Survival. In the middle of the rules book was a pull out section on how to survive in the wild.
Finally got another copy of the rules and it is fascinating how relevant some of the tips still are. Now I am ready for the Zombie/Trump apocalypse lol. Oh yes... it was written in 1972. Copyright © 1972 by The Stackpole Company

This boardgame forms the core of "Required/recommended products" for original Dungeons & Dragons. The DM was to use the markers on the hex map as adventure locations, substituting castles & fortresses for sinkholes, towns & cities for lakes, and so forth.
It was published by Avalon Hill; you can usually find copies on eBay.
