OT -- But Always to be Remembered
This something I found on wikimannia web site.
I was first told it by SSG Cook after a...event in Korea. Six phases of a big project: Enthusiasm, Disillusionment, Panic, Search for the guilty, Punishment of the innocent, and Praise and honor for the nonparticipants I was reading through some of the In Defense of the Red Army thread, then started thinking about what happened to Zhukov after WWII, and then remembered part of that saying, then looked up the rest. https://en.wikimannia.org/Six_phases_of_a_big_project

Seems to mesh with the six phases of life too.
I think I'm currently in the Panic phase as the reality of more than half my life having already passed sinks in.
