Speaking of avatars, every one I find- no matter how simple- seems to exceed various forum's max allowed pixel size (or whatever it's called). It's weird because I've seen some pretty elaborate ones on forums and I can't imagine they're smaller than the simple ones I want to use.

Where do I find cool avatar pics that are reasonable size and likely to work here (and elsewhere)?

EDIT: Whoa! I've got an avatar. That's really weird because I was getting upload failed messages when I tried to slap it on there. All's well that ends well, I suppose.

ROTFLMAO!!!!! Thanks guys.. I just got back on line, have made a move the first of March back to the Texas Riviera (Corpus Christi area). So I didn't see this posting till today unfortunatly. Chalkies attachment for what ever reason does not come through though. And some of those pics are somewhat resembalances, but they have WAY too much top head hair. LOL

I think they are blocking remote images to keep their bandwidth down. I've moved it to my server.
