Default How Far Into the Future Have You T2k'd?

As a ref or as a player, how far has your T2k campaign progressed beyond Escape from Kalisz (i.e. summer 2000, regardless of geographical starting point)?

How much did the game world change during that time?

For example, a recently-concluded PbP that I played in ended, in-universe, on January 20th, 2001. It took over ten years, IRL, to play out those six-plus IG months. In that time, Gdansk, where the campaign was set, succeeded in becoming a Free City. If we'd spent 10 years playing FtF, I imagine the timeline would have progressed considerably.

In my last campaign it took us nearly 10 years of real time to advance the story into the second quarter of 2001.

The longest game I can recall was my first, as referee. We got through the 1e Poland modules, ending with arrival at Bremerhaven. I think that was just over a year of real time, pretty much the senior year of high school for about half of the group.

Edit to add: I think I've said it before, but now I wish that Going Home hadn't happened until spring, 2001.
