Plus one, as the kids say.

Yah; all the quotes and info I've read say it's a no-go on the Herky. However, in my game-canon...

Cool scenario idea!

Not to nitpick, but the proper designation is the M-8 Greyhound Armored Car. This was a 37mm armed (and coax 0.30mg) 6x6 armored car designed by Ford. The chassis was also used for the M-20 armored utility car.

The M3 was an early war open topped scout car armed with machine guns (usually 1x .50 at the front and 1-2x 0.30 mounted on a perimeter rail (aka "the skate rail") and trolley deal.

M-3's do exist in numbers...they were simple, 4 wheel drive, and built well by the White truck company. A number exist in collections. Imagine a US halftrack of WW2 with wheels in the back and you get it.

That's some good stuff, Rak. +1 on the fanzine suggestion. (Or is it +2 now?) The article I submitted on the Ridgway should be in the next edition. It'd be cool to see a mini-adventure featuring a Ridgway in the same volume.

Alas, this one's about the MGS rather than the Ridgeway!

Perhaps in '02 or later '01, the MilGov forces finally secure the FL-GA corridor with some help from a team of Ridgeways...hm...

Thanks for the note about the Greyhound. I knew that M3 designation didn't seem right.
